This web gallery contains a showcase of my recent work as well as an impression of the many paintings which I've created in the past fifty years.
The majority of my work is in acrylic and oil on linen, usually beginning with pencil sketches, which often lead to watercolours as well. Initially the subjects were mostly industrial scenes and portraits while today they are largely landscapes and abstracts. The splendid Italian countryside is my greatest source of inspiration which explains why you will find so many Tuscan scenes in my portfolio.
